Free Walking Group

Every Monday 10:30am
We have a free walking group every Monday morning. Come along for a gentle stroll facilitated by our fantastic walking leaders! Complimentary tea or coffee after every walk.
Active Dance

Every Monday at 10:30am
This instructor-led dance programme offers a structured, follow-along format designed to enhance cardiovascular fitness, improve physical agility, and support cognitive function. Participants engage in rhythmic movement sequences in an enjoyable and socially engaging environment.
Active Aging

​Every Tuesday 10:15am
Active Ageing is a structured physical activity programme incorporating both seated and standing exercises. Designed to support muscular endurance, agility, and cardiovascular fitness, sessions include guided movements that work both the upper and lower body
Social Movers

Every Tuesday 10:15am
Social Movers is a gentle movement class ideal for individuals new to group exercise or those seeking a less intensive option. Led by a highly qualified Pilates instructor, the programme offers a welcoming introduction to physical activity and serves as a supportive alternative for participants who need to step back from more demanding classes.
Strength & Balance

Every Wednesday 10am (Advanced), 11am (Intermediate) & 12am (Beginners)
Strength and Balance is an evidence-based falls prevention programme focused on building strength, improving balance, and supporting physical independence. The class follows a progressive and adaptable structure, offering engaging exercises that promote confidence and stability in everyday movement.
Chair Yoga

Every Thursday 9:45am (Beginners) & 10:45am (Intermediate)
Chair Yoga is a gentle, restorative programme that strengthens the body, enhances mobility, and calms the mind. It offers an accessible introduction to group exercise and serves as an ideal option for recovery or re-entry into physical activity.
Age-Well

Every Thursday 4-4:45pm
Age-Well is a dynamic, full-body workout tailored for participants who have progressed beyond our morning classes. Designed to enhance strength and cardiovascular fitness, the programme features more advanced movement patterns delivered in a smaller group setting, allowing instructors to provide focused support and guidance throughout each session.
Weekend Wake-Up

Every Saturday 11:00am
Weekend Wake-Up is our most advanced fitness programme, designed for older adults with a high level of physical ability as well as the wider adult population. Similar in structure to a gym-based class, it features dynamic, full-body exercises with additional support and guidance from experienced instructors.
Social Events

Seasonal
We have social days to bring together all our participants throughout the year! Every Summer we go on our annual group walk to Carlingford and at Christmas we have our Active Ageing Christmas Gathering with a range of festive activities!
Free Fitness Assessments
We offer free fitness assessments to Active Ageing participants. These are done by our highly qualified coaches who will assess cardiovascular fitness, agility, muscular strength and balance through a range of evidence based tests.
